About Us

We The People Ohio started in March of 2025 to protest the Trump regime. We love protests because authoritarian takeovers must be met with visible opposition, our cowardly Congress must be held accountable via a public platform, and protests manifest infectious courage, civic engagement, and community.  We've branched out to holding democracy classes, a community healthcare meeting, and demanding that our community leaders follow the Constitution in local government.

Currently, we are laser-focused on the 2026 Midterms, which is the most consequential fight for democracy of our lives. Our country can only survive if, at the very least, we have a Democratically-controlled House. (We believe there is a path to a Democratically-controlled Senate, also). To that end, we must actively engage voters outside of our 'bubble.' We must also prepare for Trump's most heinous crimes yet, which will be in the form of election subversion. It's going to be a wild ride, but we can be ready with lots of active outreach and paying attention to independent media. Let's get to work!
